Premenstrual syndrome: clinical management of patients in the outpatient practice

This article describes premenstrual syndrome (PMS): it defi nition, classifi cation, etiology and pathogenesis, clinical symptoms, course, diagnostics, diff erential diagnostics and basic treatment principles. Special attention is paid to phytotherapy by dopaminergic herbal medication Mastodynon based on Vitex agnus-castus.
