The authors suggest modern approaches to diagnosis, prevention and therapy of placental insufficiency in pregnant women, including against varicose veins. An integral part of diagnosis in order to clarify the localization of the placenta, detection sections of its detachment, the severity of the destructive changes in the placenta, multi-or water scarcity is an ultrasound and Doppler study during pregnancy. In the combined therapy of placental insufficiency in women with varicose veins in the pelvis should include antiplatelet therapy, tools to improve microcirculation and drugs that activate the flow oxygen and increase its utilization.
