Journal "Reproductive Endocrinology" is included in category "A" of the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine
According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 420 from 15.04.2021, the printed version of the scientific and practical medical journal "Reproductive Endocrinology" is included in category "A" of the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine in the medical field in specialties 222, 224, 225, 227, 228, 229. The main results of dissertations can be published in the journal. All manuscripts submitted to the Editorial Board undergo a multi-stage review in accordance with international standards.
Journal category is an indicator of its significance, authority and level; the most prestigious authoritative journals are included in accordance with the category "A", which are in the Web of Science and Scopus list of peer-reviewed sources. Future doctors of science must cover the material in at least 20 scientific publications:
- in scientific professional publications of Ukraine;
- in periodical scientific sources of other countries in the research direction;
- at least 5 of the 20 articles should be published in two different periodicals of the category "A" or in foreign sources indexed by Scopus, Web of Science.
What do scientometric databases give the author, and why is it customary to speak of Scopus as a standard? First, it is a large-scale coverage. The platform contains tens of thousands records; it is used by scientists from all over the world (currently at least 120 countries). Therefore, the published material has the highest chances of citation. Second, the high level of such journals is supported by strict selection criteria and regular updates during compliance checks.
