Tumor-like lesions of the ovaries

This publication describes the modern principles of diagnosis and treatment of women of reproductive age with tumor-like lesions of the ovaries.
Most often clinical and laboratory signs of disease are: abdominal pain, menstrual disorders, low-grade fever, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, leukocytosis, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, urinary system.
Diagnosis of ovarian tumor-like lesions carried out as follows: pelvic examination, bimanual examination, ultrasound examination of the pelvic organs.
Treatment includes: I stage - complex anti-infl ammatory therapy, II stage - hormone therapy, III stage - surgical treatment
