Abstract

Expression of antigens to estradiol and progesterone in the heterotopic endometrium was studied in order to determine the degree of hormone dependent of endometriosi various localization. Histological examination of extirpation uterus was conducted in 35 women of first groups with internal endometriosis, the second group consisted of 52 patients with external endometriosis and the third group consisted of 19 patients whom extragenital endometriosis, which was performed resection of endometriosis lesions. The obtained results showed significant reduction in the prevalence of estradiol and progesterone receptors expression in women of the first and the second groups unlike the third group. The degree of intensity of estradiol and progesterone receptors expression significantly decreased with distance of endometriosis lesions from uterus.
