Abstract

Herbal drugs are widely used in many areas of medicine. In gynecology herbal drugs are used topically (as washing, douches, suppositories) or orally (in the form of drops, tablets and capsules). Herbs prescribed for the treatment of infl ammatory diseases of the genital organs and diff erent menstrual disorders (dysmenorrhea, menometrorrhagia), in the treatment of premenstrual and menopausal syndrome,mastalgia, mastitis and other disease states.
Studying the eff ects of medicinal plants on a woman’s body, it should be noted their multifunctionality that allows a minimal set of various herbs (teas) to correct several problems at once: to harmonize the work of the body as a whole, hormones, psycho- emotional status, immunity, etc. Herbal preparations can be administered as long as a separate treatment or in combination with other drugs. This is especially important in the regulation of the reproductive system of the
female body.
